Windamere Hotel offers a truly authentic peek into the old British Raj past. It was named as a hotel to complete its Private Limited Company status, but really it is still a cluster of houses inviting guests to discover what it all looked liked back then. This experience would take a guest through the food and how it is served; the Bar and how it still resounds with the sounds and flavours of the old Tea Planters and their pink gins and tonic! Daisy"s Music Room still shows the 100+ year old piano, alongside old photograph albums and a burning coal fire. Mrs. Gertrude Bearpark used to have her suite here, as she ran the house with an iron will. Her name is now on the door.
